The draw sees Forest remain in 19th place on the log with six points from 11 matches, while Liverpool moved up to seventh place in the league standings with 16 points from 11 matches.

Liverpool managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory over Forest when they last met in the FA Cup quarter-finals with Diogo Jota scoring the only goal of the game at City Ground on 20 March 2022.

Steve Cooper is expected to have his entire squad fit and ready to take on the Reds with no new injuries or suspensions ahead of the encounter.

Jurgen Klopp is expected to have five players on the sidelines through injury including Diogo Jota, Arthur, Naby Keita, Joel Matip and Ibrahima Konate all out of contention.

Emmanuel Dennis has had a below-par start to life at Forest and will be looking to rediscover his form when they face Liverpool, having only scored one goal so far this season.

Darwin Núñez has finally proved himself in a Liverpool shirt after scoring the match-winner in midweek action and will be looking to make an impact once again, with six of his last eight club goals coming away from home.
