AmaZulu and SuperSport United are both looking to bounce back and secure their first win in the DStv Premiership this season when they face off at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday.
Usuthu come into this encounter after they were held to a goalless draw by TS Galaxy in their opening match.
Meanwhile, Matsatsantsa were forced to settle for a point after they played out to a 1-1 draw against Chippa United as a late goal by Bradley Grobler cancelled out Ronald Pfumbidzai’s opener.

“We didn’t start or play well at all. We can do so much better. It is the first game. We were slow on the block and last to the ball,” AmaZulu head coach Brandon Truter said.
“Our playing patterns and structure went out of the window. They forced us to change a bit and we had to change the formation and close it a bit from the side. It was unlike us today.
“It is an AmaZulu team that can do a lot better. It is an AmaZulu team that has a lot of quality. I am excited about that. Nothing has been won or lost in the first game of the season.
There is a lot to change. We have Dumisani Zuma who is injured and Bongi Ntuli is not fully fit. Momentum will come around the third or fourth game. With the congestion of fixtures coming, I will need to protect players for their careers going forward.”
When the two teams squared off in the two-legged fixture last season, Matsatsantsa came out on top after they claimed four points out of a possible six following a goalless draw in the first leg at the Princess Magogo Stadium before securing a 2-0 victory at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in the return leg.
Brandon Truter will be boosted by the fact that he’ll have no injuries for the upcoming match but Sibongakonke Ndlovu will be sidelined through suspension.
Gavin Hunt will have two players unavailable for their next encounter as Ghampani Lungu and Ricardo Goss service a match suspension.
Augustine Kwem will look to hit the ground running at AmaZulu and bag his first goal for his new club after failing to find the back of the net in his debut against TS Galaxy.
Bradley Grobler will be looking to maintain his current scoring form in front of goal after netting against Chippa United over the weekend.
