The reports have suggested that the Blues are willing to let Ziyech leave for £8.4m as he has been deemed surplus to requirement but his £5m a year wages may prove to be a stumbling block for the Italian champions.

Milan has revealed that Ziyech is their top transfer target but are also chasing a deal to sign attacking midfielder Charles de Ketelaere from Belgian side Club Brugge.

The report adds that Ziyech is aware of Milan’s interest in his services and the Moroccan now has his eyes set on completing a permanent move to San Siro.

Ziyech has started only 27 of his 46 Premier League appearances, including only 14 last season, and has contributed to only six goals and six assists in the Premier League for Chelsea

The Morocco international, who has scored a total of 14 times in 83 games across all tournaments for the Blues, is now believed to be considering his options ahead of a proposed exit from the West Londoners this summer.
