Giannis Antetokounmpo was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for the 2019/2020 season despite his side, the Milwaukee Bucks, failing to make the Eastern Conference Finals.

This was Antetokounmpo’s second straight MVP award making him the first to do so since Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry repeated the feat in 2015 and 2016.

The 25-year-old matched LeBron James’ feat as being the youngest to go two in a row when James won the awards in ’09 and again in 2010.
