The continental hopes of Africa are on a string after two matches in the group stages. Who can advance to the round of 16 at the World Cup?
SENEGAL: Must win
The Lions of Teranga must beat Ecuador on Tuesday if they want to advance. There’s no ways Qatar is beating the Dutch, so the objective is simple.
TUNISIA: Must win
Defeat to Australia leave them with just one point. Now they play already-qualified France who have a perfect record. It seems unlikely that Tunisia will win this contest and go through.
MOROCCO: Must draw or better
A stunning win over Belgium has this North Africa team ready to head into the next round. The goal is clear, don’t lose to Canada.
CAMEROON: Must win
No harder task than beating Brazil but that is the mountain which the Indomitable Lions must climb. Their foes already have a place booked in the round of 16 but such is their depth, they could field 11 changes and still be a force.
GHANA: Must draw or better
Ghana are second in Group H with three points, two more than South Korea and Uruguay. If the Black Stars win, they are through. If they draw and Portugal beat or draw to Korea, then they are also safe.
