Liverpool will be aiming to build on their victory over Manchester City when they play host to West Ham United at Anfield in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.
The Reds come into this fixture high in confidence after ending Manchester City’s unbeaten run in the league. A single Mo Salah goal was enough to allow them bragging rights at Anfield on Sunday evening.

The Hammers come into this match on a three-match unbeaten run in the league after playing out to a 1-1 draw away at Southampton.
Liverpool’s win saw them climb to eighth place while West Ham’s draw sees them move up to 12th place.
“Our defensive line was for sure the best game we’ve played this season. That’s good,” Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp said.
“Timing-wise [it was] nearly perfect to do that today, but that’s the way we have to defend.
“Now we have three days for recover pretty much and to prepare for West Ham, then we have to go again.
“They will ask for absolutely everything as well. The next tough game is waiting.”
When Liverpool met West Ham in the home and away leg in the Premier League last season, both teams walked away with three points following their home victories, with West Ham winning their home leg 3-2 before Liverpool secured a narrow 1-0 victory at home.
Jürgen Klopp is expected to be without Diogo Jota, who picked up a calf injury against Manchester City. Luis Diaz, Joel Matip, Arthur Melo, Naby Keïta and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlian are all still on the injured list.
David Moyes will only have two players in Maxwell Cornet and Nayef Aguerd, while he will be boosted by the return of Kurt Zouma and Crag Dawson.
Salah silenced his critics by scoring the winning goal against Manchester City this past weekend following a disappointing performance against Arsenal the previous weekend.
Pablo Fornals will be hoping to get back into the team and end his six-game goal drought but history is on his side as he has scored two goals at Anfield in three league appearances.
