Manchester United aiming for back-to-back wins when they travel to Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
United will be looking to add a second victory at St. Mary’s Stadium in the early match of the day.
Southampton will come into this fixture on a two-match unbeaten run in the league after they edged Leicester City 2-1.
United enjoyed a famous night at Old Trafford as they beat Liverpool 2-1 after goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford sent them two clear.
“We can talk about tactics but it is all about attitude,” said Man Utd coach Erik Ten Hag after his side’s Monday night romp.
“I am happy with the performance but we have to bring it every game. Don’t just bring it against Liverpool. Every Premier League game is difficult, we need to bring it to every game. It starts, once again, with the spirit.
“I don’t have to mention Maguire and Ronaldo. They are amazing players and they will play a role in the future and the short-term future as well.
“We have the right players, I am convinced of that. The window is not closed and you need numbers and also quality.”
When the two sides met in the home and away fixture last season in the Premier League, the Saints and the Red Devils shared the spoils in both fixtures; it was 1-1 in both outings.
Saints bossRalph Hasenhüttl has Tino Livramento missing while Ten Hag has a full squad and could hand Casemiro his debut.
Ché Adams looks to have finally found his form for Southampton after the 26-year-old forward managed to find the back on two occasions in his last appearances for the Saints to earn them maximum points against the Foxes.
Marcus Rashford has slowly begun to show glimpses of his former self following his impressive performance against Liverpool, a match in which he scored the winning goal to secure United’s first win of the season.
