South African star Percy Tau is no longer a player at Egyptian giants Al Ahly according to reports.
The exit has been confirmed by many local outlets. It comes shortly after Pitso Mosimane left the Egyptian club.
Tau signed for Al Ahly back in 2021 on a two year contract. He scored 5 goals in 22 appearances. He played in the 2021 CAF Super Cup and scored in the penalty shootout.
The 28-year-old previously missed the club’s FIFA Club World Cup campaign in January. And his career in Egypt was hampered by consistent injuries.
