Yes, the mighty PSL champions have actually lost a game. And at home. Someone who might’ve enjoyed it more than others was new Galaxy star Sibusiso Vilakazi, who was one player to shine on the night. And he had plenty of incentive as his proved his old employers wrong.

Royal AM, who beat Chiefs in round one, did indeed win again! They finished last season in third place and now are starting to look like the real deal after brushing past Chippa United 3-1.
If last season’s woes are anything to go by, then Orlando Pirates fans are in for a long, old season. Again, they were toothless in attack and managed to limp to a 1-1 draw against Stellenbosch – who were at sixes and sevens ahead of the match such is their injury crisis.
Another big result in midweek was SuperSport, under Gavin Hunt, losing to Amazulu 2-1. It’s clear that in the early days of the season, no match should be taken as a certain result.
