Jele is expected to join the club as a free agent and will become one of their marquee signings behind Ricardo Nascimento, Thabo Matlaba and Samir Nurkovic, respectively.

“Royal AM have handed Happy Jele their offer,” the source revealed to KickOff.

“They are expected to meet on Tuesday to finalise a deal. If things go well, the club is expected to unveil him imminently.”

Over the course of his career, Jele made over 400 appearances across all competitions while scoring 18 goals and assisting a further seven in the process.

Jele leaves the Buccaneers, having won eight trophies, including two league titles, three MTN8 trophies, two Nedbank Cups as well as one Telkom Knockout Cup trophy.
