Swallows beef up their flock

Swallows FC have continued to strengthen their squad after they officially confirmed the signing of former Golden Arrows midfielder Lindokuhle Mtshali.

The 24-year-old has now become the Dube Birds’ second signing during the current transfer window following the recent arrival of Keegan Allan from the University of Pretoria.

The attacking midfielder moves to Soweto comes after he put pen to paper on a two-year contract with an option to extend for a further one year.

Mtshali, who joined the Dube Birds as a free agent after he was released by Arrows, bring with him experience playing for Real Kings, Orlando Pirates and Golden Arrows, respectively.

Over the course of his career, Mtshali has managed to find the back of the net on four occasions and registered six assists in 65 appearances in all competitions.

“The Butcher Birds would like to welcome Lindokuhle Mtshali to the nest. The attacking mid was previously in the books of Golden Arrows,” Swallows said in a statement on their official Twitter page.
