Swallows add Isaacs to the mix

Swallows FC have officially announced the signing of striker Waseem Isaacs from fellow DStv Premiership outfit Stellenbosch FC.

The 31-year-old striker will join the Dube Birds after he put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further season.

Isaacs played a crucial role in helping Stellies secure their promotion from the GladAfrica Champions to the top-flight during the 2019-20 season but the striker has not lived up to his reputation in the final third, having only scored one goal in 20 appearances across all competitions last season.

The former Cape Town All Stars striker becomes Swallows’ third signing during the current transfer window behind the likes of Keegan Allan and most recently Lindokuhle Mtshali.

Isaacs brings a wealth of experience, having previously turned out for FC Cape Town, Michalovce, Vasco Da Gama, Milano United, All Stars,
Ubuntu and Stellenbosch FC.

The Ubuntu academy product has managed to find the back of the net on 12 occasions in 57 appearances across all competitions over the course of his career.

Swallows are not yet done in the current market as they look to unveil a few more signings to bolster their squad for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
