Chelsea have been offered the opportunity to sign superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar in what would be a huge statement of intent from new owner Todd Boehly as the Blues look to strengthen their squad for the 2022-23 season.
Thomas Tuchel has been equipped with a £200million transfer budget as the Blues are expected to make marquee signings this summer and Ronaldo or Neymar would fit the bill.
The West London side are keen to strengthen their attack options before the start of the season, whilst filling the void in defence left by the departed Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
Raheem Sterling, Ousmane Dembele and Raphinha have all been linked with Chelsea and talks are ongoing with all three attackers, however, Chelsea fans would prefer to have any of the trio if not all on the books at Chelsea.
But according to recent reports making the rounds in the media, Chelsea has been gifted with the opportunity to sign both Ronaldo and Neymar.
Recent reports have emerged that Ronaldo has asked to leave Manchester United this summer as he is keen to play in the Champions League, with agent Jorge Mendes holding talks with several top European sides to offer his clients services.
However, United remain strong on its stance with Ronaldo and are not willing to let their prized asset leave the club but the Blues could capitalise on the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s uncertain future at Old Trafford.
On the other hand, Neymar is thought to be surplus to requirement at Paris Saint-Germain as they look to clear their wage bills. The Brazilians arrived in France from Barcelona for £200million in 2017 but has failed to live up to expectations and he is now keen to move to the Premier League after finding out the club are happy for him to depart.
