Dutch left back Tyrell Malacia has reportedly arrived at Carrington for the second part of his Manchester United medical ahead of a €15million transfer from Feyenoord.
The 22-year-old will make the move to Man Utd in a deal worth around an initial £13m, with a further £1.7m in add-ons and a potential sell-on clause after the club agreed terms with Feyenoord.
Malacia arrived at Carrington on Sunday for his first round of medical checks and is now due to sign for the club after completing the second round of tests on Monday.
The Netherlands international is now set to become new United manager Erik ten Hag’s first signing and looks set to be included in their pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia.
Last season, the left managed to rack up 50 appearances across all competitions for Feyenoord, while contributing to one goal and five assists in the process.
Overall, Malacia has scored four times and registered 10 assists in 136 appearances for his current team in all competitions and has already won two trophies, including the KNVB Cup as well as the Johan Cruyff Shield.
Malacia could be followed to Old Trafford by Dutch international teammate Frenkie de Jong as Man Utd are believed to be in the final stages of negotiations with Barcelona over a move for the Dutchman.
However, United are facing a battle of trying to keep a hold of starman Cristiano Ronaldo, who has allegedly told the club of his desire to leave Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.
