Cape Town All Stars will be looking to claim their first win in the promotion/relegation playoffs when they travel to the Dobsonville Stadium to face Swallows FC on Wednesday afternoon.
All Stars’ campaign in the playoffs got off to a slow start after they fell to a 3-1 defeat to University of Pretoria at Athlone Stadium on Sunday after goals from Samuel Julies, Thabang Sibanyoni and Wonderboy Makhubu was enough for AmaTuks to claim the win, while Sirgio Kammies’ goal was a consolation for All Stars.
Swallows will kickstart their campaign in the playoffs looking for a positive result after they were forced to share the spoils with Kaizer Chiefs in their final DStv Premiership game of the season after Njabulo Ngcobo and Bernard Parker cancelled out Dillon Solomons’ second half brace at the FNB Stadium in Soweto.
