AmaZulu are eager to maintain their five-game unbeaten run after they were held to a goalless draw against Sekhukhune United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium over the weekend.

The draw sees Usuthu remain in seventh place on the table with 40 points after 28 matches – level on points with Orlando Pirates in sixth place on the log.

In head-to-head stats between the two teams, AmaZulu will come into this clash with the upper hand, having won two of the last five games between them, while two games have ended in a draw and Cape Town City only clinched one win in five.

Coming into this fixture, Eric Tinkler will have a fully fit squad with no injuries or suspension on the cards, while Brandon Truter will be without the services of left back Limbikani Mzava, who is sidelined with a leg injury.

Mduduzi Mdatsene has been the man in form for City in recent games after scoring his ninth league goal for the season in their last game against TS Galaxy in Cape Town.

Luvuyo Mamela will be looking to end his four-game with a goal, having last found the back of the net in their narrow 1-0 victory over Baroka FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on April 6.
