Orlando Pirates will be determined to overturn a one-goal deficit when they welcome Simba SC to the Orlando Stadium for their Caf Confederation Cup quarter-final second leg on Sunday evening.

The Buccaneers will have it all to play for in the return leg after they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Simba SC in the first leg at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam this past Sunday.

The Tanzanian side enters the second leg with the one-goal advantage thanks to a 68th-minute penalty by Shomari Kapombe.

While Pirates are unbeaten at home with three victories and a draw in the Confederation Cup, Simba have fared poorly away from Tanzania, drawing one match and losing three others.

Bucs’ boss Mandla Ncikazi will continue to be without the services of left back Paseka Mako, who is out due to injury, while Pablo Franco is expected to have a fully fit squad for the encounter with no injuries or suspensions

After failing to find the back of the net in the first leg, Kabelo Dlamini will be relishing the chance to bag his four-goal in the competition this season and help his side move into the next phase of the competition.

For the visitors, Shomari Kapombe will be looking to continue his form in front of goal after scoring the winning goal in the first leg to bag his second goal in the competition.
