Luis Enrique will only have one player unavailable for the game as Robert Sanchez has been ruled out after testing positive for COVID-19 and will be replaced by Unai Simon, while Arnar Viðarsson will have a fully fit squad for the encounter with the bulk of the side that started against Finland could again take to the field against the Spaniards.

Ferran Torres will be hoping to continue his current run of form for club and country, having already scored four goals since joining Barcelona, while scoring his first goal for Spain this season in the previous game against Albania.

Iceland will once again rely on captain Birkir Bjarnason to lead the team after he scored the opening goal against Finland to earn his side a draw in their previous match.
