BETTING PREVIEW: ROYAL AM vs KAIZER CHIEFS

Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run and further close the gap on leaders Mamelodi Sundowns when they travel to the Chatsworth Stadium to face Royal AM in the DStv Premiership on Sunday.

Thwihli Thwahla will be hoping to bounce back when they face Amakhosi after they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Sundowns in their previous DStv Premiership game as a goal from Thabiso Kutumela and a Peter Shalulile brace cancelled out Victor Letsoalo’s brace.

Royal will go into the encounter sitting in fourth place, level on 23 points with Sekhukhune United, Stellenbosch FC and  Orlando Pirates, having won six, drawn five and suffered four defeats in 15 matches.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi recently moved up to second place on the table with 25 points and 12 behind log leaders Sundowns after they only lost three games, drew four and claimed seven wins in 14 matches thus far.

When they last squared off in the DStv Premiership, a brace by Victor Letsoalo, an own goal by Sibusiso Mabiliso and a goal from Mfundo Thikazi handed Royal a comfortable 4-1 victory over Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, September 18, 2021 as Sifiso Hlanti’s 74th minute goal proved to be a consolation.
