Cape Town City will travel to Durban for their MTN8 quarter-final clash following the confirmation of the fixtures by the PSL.

City will travel to the Moses Mabhida Stadium to face former mentor Benni McCarthy’s side. It will be no walk in the park against Usuthu, who showed their worth last season when they finished second.

City, though, are expected to push themselves into the category of title challengers under Eric Tinkler. The former Bafana Bafana midfielder oversaw the team’s first spell as a new club and oversaw their 2018 MTN8 victory.

The first official match of the new season will see the defending champions, Orlando Pirates, host Swallows FC.

A blockbuster awaits the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville when Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs do battle for a place in the semis. Kick-off is at 3pm before City face Amazulu at 6pm.
