Manchester United and Arsenal are both in action as the Premier League action continues to come thick and fast.
The Red Devils will be desperate to make up recent lost ground – they have earned just one from the last available six points – when they host the Saints at Old Trafford at 22:15pm.
Their visitors arrive in their own state with three three straight losses in the league. That form has seen Southampton drop down to 11th place.
The big headache for Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer is how to solve his side’s home woes; the Theatre of Dream has been home to a series of horror shows and United have only the 11th best home record this season.
In the opposite dugout, Ralph Hasenhuttl‘s out of form side will be looking to reverse his side’s 3-2 defeat to United which came back in November. He will be boosted by not only United’s poor home record but also the fact that these two sides drew in July 2020.
Southampton have not beaten the Red Devils in the league since January 2016.
Eyes will be on Solskjaer’s starting lineup where he must choose between Anthony Martial or Edinson Cavani. Martial has just two league goals this season and while Cavani has been in good form, he missed a number of chances to help his side past Arsenal on the weekend.
Suggested bet: Both teams to score at 1.74
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal travel to Wolves, a side desperate for points, in a key encounter for the Gunners.
The home side are woefully out of form – barring a shock draw against Chelsea – and continue to struggle with injuries. Rayan Ait-Nouri remains out after suffering an abductor problem against Chelsea. Full-backs Marcal (groin) and Jonny (knee) are also sidelined, along with striker Raul Jimenez (fractured skull).
Kieran Tierney and Bukayo Saka are both doubtful for Arteta’s men but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang might get a return in this clash.
Suggested bet: Both teams to score at 1.94
