Swallows FC are within a victory over Chippa United of moving to the top of the PSL table following Sundowns’ goalless draw on Tuesday.
The triple-defending champions were held by Bloemfontein Celtic and are a single point ahead of Swallows, in action at 5pm tonight.
Sundowns were frustrated by Celtic and managed just 3 shots on target despite bossing the contest throughout.
Their inability to score on Tuesday means Swallows can complete their fairytale if they beat the Chilli Boys at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto.
Chippa ended their seven-match winless run when they claimed a 1-0 victory against TS Galaxy. That result lifted the Chilli Boys to the 12th spot but they are level on points with TTM, who are in the relegation playoff spot.
If the visitors want to get a result against the high-flying Swallows, they have to find a way of negating the threat of Ruzaigh Gamildien. The in-form striker is has netted eight goals from 11 matches and has shown no signs of letting up.
Suggested bet: Swallows win at 1.74
Elsewhere, the resurgent Kaizer Chiefs were clinical as they beat TTM 3-0 thanks to goals from Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Lebohang Manyama, and Happy Mashiane.
Both sides ended the contest with 10 men as Alfred Ndengane was shown his second yellow for a bad tackle on Samir Nurkovic.
Chiefs forward Bernard Parker, on as a substitute, was shown his second yellow card in injury time to take a little shine off the performance.
