Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Spurs are all in action on what is expected to be a bumper Saturday in the Premier League.
Newcastle vs Chelsea – 2:30pm
The home side in this fixture has won the last two battles 1-0 but with Chelsea now free-scoring, one could expect more than two goals in the early kick off. The biggest threat from the Blues will be Timo Werner, who has scored in four straight games to add to his two goal haul for Germany in midweek. The striker is working his way into his best form and it could seriously jeopardise the Magpies solid home record against Chelsea.
Add Werner’s form and the fact that Newcastle have yet to keep a clean sheet at home this season and you could see why the host’s sound home record against the Blues is in grave danger of being ripped apart.
Suggested bet: Werner to score and Chelsea to win at 2.19 (JengaBet)
Aston Villa vs Brighton – 5pm
The hosts are sixth with five wins and two losses. The visitors are down in 16th with one win and four losses and winless in the league in their last five outings. There are very few things that come as certainties in the Premier League but the Seagulls struggling on Saturday might just be one of them. The hosts have Jack Grealish in fine form and Brighton’s record at Villa Park reads: no wins, three draws and nine defeats.
Suggested bet: Aston Villa to win at 2.19
Spurs vs Manchester City – 7:30pm
Another Jose Mourinho vs Pep Guardiola battle to feast on. This marks the 24th occasion that the fiery pair have come up against each other with the City boss the standout performer. He has inflicted 10 defeats on the “Special One”, just two shy of his best record over a manager (12 vs Manuel Pellegrini).
But this fixture marks Spurs’ best chance to prove their title credentials as they start with a seven match unbeaten run and chasing a fourth straight league win for the first time since February last year.
Rather predictably, it will be up to the boots of Harry Kane, who has 23 goal contributions (13 gaols and 10 assists) from 14 matches this season. His right-hand man remains Son Heung-min, with 10 goals and five assists.
City are looking to Gabriel Jesus for goals; the Brazilian has 11 in 11 and looking to go for four in a row.
If the Premier League is about all out action, then we are expecting this to be the perfect example. City start as overwhelming favourites (1.74 to win) but may
Suggested bet: Over 2.5 match goals at 1.54 or try our Jengabet of Harry Kane scoring and both teams scoring at 2.48.
Manchester United vs West Brom – 10pm
The Red Devils bogey team arrive at the worst possible time with the Theatre of Dreams not yet having delivered a home victory.
United are winless in four league games and have the worst defensive record at home in the league. So, for those thinking it would be perfect time to play the Baggies maybe it’s worth checking the momentum on that.
West Brom start with three wins from their last five at Old Trafford and will be looking for another famous night in their bid to move out of the relegation standings. They arrive without a win in the league and face a side that has won more games from losing positions than any other outfit in the topflight.
The home side have just ten points from seven games but are likely to be able to call upon Marcus Rashford, who together with Bruno Fernandes could end their team’s horrible home run.
Suggested bet: Bruno Fernandes to score and Manchester United to win at 2.17 (Jengabet)
