Chelsea host Brighton looking to move up the Premier League table this weekend.

It’s been a season to forget for Chelsea. They will start Saturday’s contest at Stamford Bridge with nothing but pride to play for.

It’s been a season of calamity for Chelsea who sacked Thomas Tuchel and went to Brighton to poach Graham Potter. It didn’t work and the former Brighton bloss is now part of the unemployment queue.

Brighton might’ve tasted defeat in their previous outing but before that, they were unbeaten in four fixtures which has gone to show how good they have been over the course of the season.

It’s been a fixture that has been kind to Brighton too. They won the last encounter 4-1 and are unbeaten in four matches.

Temporary coach Frank Lampard has a lot on his hands at the moment as he juggles Champions League quarters with this disastrous league campaign.

The last two head to heads have seen draws which could be on the cards again as Chelsea look to recover from their outing against Real Madrid.
