AmaZulu produced a strong second-half performance in their 2-0 win over Chippa in their most recent league encounter. The win elevated Usuthu to the eighth spot in the league standings as they refocus on the PSL. It came at a good time as they ended a five-game winless run.

Amazulu, though, were shock victims of another Dondol Stars upset as they left the Nedbank Cup via penalties.
Stellenbosch are in good spirits after their own Nedbank Cup fixture. They moved into the next round after hitting six goals past TS Galaxy. It came off the back of an impressive 1-1 draw with champions-in-waiting Mamelodi Sundowns.
The winelands team are 10th and can move past Amazulu with a win on Friday night.
A good result will strike fear into Kaizer Chiefs, who are in the running to finish second this season despite their patchy form, who are next for Steve Barker’s men on 1 April.
“We also have confidence and belief,” says Barker, who was speaking after his side drew Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup.
“We showed against Sundowns recently, you know as much as we respect them, we should not fear them, it is a type of game that gives you an opportunity to play with fearlessness and bravery. The pressure is not on us, we can try to take the game to Sundowns.”
