Erling Haaland is having the season of his life and things got better on Tuesday against RB Leipzig.
The City forward is eight goals clear in the Premier League scoring race with 28 strikes and now he sits two ahead of Mo Salah in the Champions League.
Haaland started the round of 16 tie three back of the Liverpool player but was in sublime form as City ran riot.
Salah could be playing his last match in Europe for the season as Liverpool start three goals behind Real Madrid in Wednesday’s remaining UCL matches.
Haaland has now hit 39 goals this season.
But the Norwegian wanted a sixth goal before being taken off.
“My super strength? I think after scoring five goals, I have to say scoring goals. A lot of goals today, I didn’t think. I was just doing it.
“I told him [Pep Guardiola] when I went off, ‘I would love to score a double hat-trick’. But what can I do?”
