Erling Haaland limped off during Manchester City’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Norwegian goal machine didn’t score during his side’s 3-1 win over Villa.
But crucially, there is a short turnaround to Wednesday’s clash against champions in waiting Arsenal.
Haaland may now miss the trip to the Emirates on Wednesday before Champions League action resumes for City when they face RB Leipzig seven days later.
Haaland appeared to injure his thigh in a collision with Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez midway through the first half.
However, he played on till the break and showed no ill effects as his blistering pace helped set up City’s second goal for Ilkay Gundogan. He didn’t take the penalty that was converted by Riyad Mahrez.
A win will move City level with Arsenal, who start Wednesday’s top of the table clash on 51 points.
