Chelsea need to be at their best when Arsenal arrive for the London derby at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues are undefeated this season at Stamford Bridge but beating the Gunners on home soil in the league is something Chelsea haven’t managed since August 2018 (D1, L2 since).
And don’t forget the humiliating 4-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend as Graham Potter was humbled by his former club.
The Gunners, meanwhile, are currently on a six-game unbeaten run in the league after they cruised to a comfortable 5-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
They arrive at the Bridge in top spot.
Last season was a mixed affair as both Chelsea and Arsenal claimed three points apiece after the Blues won the first leg 2-0 before the Gunners clinched a thrilling 4-2 victory in the return leg.
Potter is also struggling with absentees as Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, Reece James, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic continue to recover from their respective injuries.
Mikel Arteta will only be without two players for the game in the form of Emile Smith Rowe and Matt Turner, who are both out with groin injuries.
Bukayo Saka has been in some form for the Gunners this campaign, having already contributed to nine goals, including four goals and five assists in 12 appearances.
