Arsenal will look to continue their dominance in the Premier League when they travel to St Mary’s Stadium to face Southampton on Sunday.

The Saints will be looking for their a second successive win in the league after claiming a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth.

Southampton’s win over Bournemouth saw them claim up to 14th place on the log – level on 11 points with West Ham United.

Arsenal’s most recent win saw them move four points clear of Manchester City.

When Arsenal and Southampton met in the home and away Premier League fixture last season, both teams walked away with three points. The Gunners secured a comfortable 3-0 home win before the Saints clinched a narrow 1-0 win in the second leg.

Ralph Hasenhüttl will only have one player on the sidelines through injury in the form of Tino Livramento, who is out with a cruciate ligament rupture.

Mikel Arteta will continue to be without the services of Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf injury), Mohamed Elneny (thigh problem) and Emile Smith Rowe (groin surgery), who are all out of action due to their respective injuries.

Gabriel Jesus will look to find his form again after failing to score in his previous appearances for the Gunners, having contributed to nine goals, including five goals and four assists in 10 league matches.

Ché Adams will be hoping to continue his form in front of goal after netting his third goal of the season after bagging the winner against the Cherries.
