Chippa United inflicted a rare home defeat on Kaizer Chiefs as the hosts missed out on a chance to go top of the PSL standtings.
Chiefs slipped to a 2-1 defeat to Chippa United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday evening.
The defeat was Chiefs’ fourth of the season and also denied Zwane’s side the opportunity to sit on top of the log.
Amakhosi coach Arthur Zwane was frustrated by his side starting badly.
“I think we started very sluggish,” Zwane told reporters.
“I think our first attempted shot at goal was just after 29 minutes. We were just going through the motions and we did not look like a team that wanted to capitalise and take the game to the opposition while playing at home.”
