Manchester United turned out in their new third choice kit and the result against Brentford was as bad as the club’s design.
Cristiano Ronaldo returned to the Red Devils starting line-up but it was in vain as the away side were held scoreless. The action was at the other end as the Bees lashed four past David de Gea, who made a terrible mistake in conceding the opening goal.
It wasn’t the last goal of the day as Brentford heaped misery onto the under-fire Manchester United squad.
