The off-season continues and all the talk remains centred on the futures of Robert Lewandowski, Neymar and even Cristiano Ronaldo.
Barcelona are moving forward with an opening bid to bring Bayern Munich and Poland striker Robert Lewandowski to La Liga.
Barca will have to fork up as much as £34 million to bring Lewandowski to the club. The player has already expressed his wishes to leave the Bundesliga with Chelsea also thought to be an option.
If Lewandowski manages to force through his move then the new talk is that Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo will be on the radar of Bayern. Ronaldo’s future has been widely discussed following a tumultous season at Old Trafford and doubts remain of whether he has a future under manager Erik ten Hag.
United’s transfer talk has focussed on Ten Hag’s former club Ajax. Top of the list is 25-year-old Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who was mentored by Ten Hag during his days at the Dutch club. Ajax forward Antony is also widely tipped to be the subject of a bid from the Red Devils.
Back to De Jong and the talk is that Manchester United have increased their bid from £51.5 million to £55.8 million.
Midfielder Christian Eriksen is deciding whether to join Manchester United or stay at Brentford. While a move back to Spurs is also not off the table.
PSG’s Neymar is another star player in the papers. The Brazilian is now being linked with sale as the French club are under pressure due to the mega deal that saw Kylian Mbappe stay at the club.
