Marumo Gallants FC will be hoping to continue their title defence when they take on GladAfrica Championship side Tshakhuma FC in the Nedbank Cup semi-final first leg at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Friday evening.
Tshakhuma FC will come into this fixture high in confidence after they cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Jomo Cosmos in their last match played at the Thohoyandou Stadium
The GladAfrica Championship side made their way to this stage of the competition after they edged out SuperSport United 3-2 in Thohoyandou after Tumi Ngwepe, Naeem Amoojee and Tumelo Makha cancelled out goals from Jesse Donn and Ghampani Lungu.
Meanwhile, Gallants were held to a goalless draw against SuperSport United in their previous DStv Premiership encounter played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
The defending champions advanced to the semi-finals of the competition after they beat Baroka FC 1-0 in the quarter-finals after Sede Junior Dion scored the only goal of the game at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on 9 April.

In head-to-head stats between the two teams in the last five games, Marumo Gallants have managed to win two out of five matches, while the remaining three games have ended in draws.
Both Lucky Nelukau and Dan Malesela are both expected to have fully fit squads for their last four encounters with no injuries or suspensions on the cards for both teams.
Naeem Amoojee will be hoping to continue his form in the competition after scoring in the Round of 16 as well as the quarter-finals to help his side reach this stage of the competition.
Like Amoojee, Sede Junior Dion will be looking to continue his current moment in the competition after scoring three goals in his last three games, scoring a brace against Santos in the Second Round as well as the winner against Baroka in the last eight.
