The Europa League has reached the semi-final stage as West Ham United hosts Eintracht Frankfurt and Glasgow Rangers travel to RB Leipzig on Thursday.

West Ham United are set to take on Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of their semi-final clash when the two teams meet at the London Stadium.

The Hammers will come into this fixture looking to bounce back after they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to London rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday after Christian Pulisic scored a stoppage-time winner.

Eintracht Frankfurt will be hoping to end their two-game winless run after they played out to a thrilling 2-2 draw against 1899 Hoffenheim after an own goal by Evan Ndicka and a goal from Georginio Rutter cancelled out goals from Evan Ndicka and Daichi Kamada.

David Moyes will have three players sidelined through injury, which includes the likes of Kurt Zouma, Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna, while Aaron Cresswell is serving a match suspension.

Scottish outfit Rangers will travel to the Red Bull Arena when they take on RB Leipzig in their Europa League semi-final first leg played in Leipzig, Germany.

RB Leipzig will be hoping to return to winning ways after they fell to a 2-1 defeat to FC Union Berlin in their last game at the Red Bull Arena as goals from Sven Michel and Kevin Behrens fired the away team to victory as Yussuf Poulsen’s opener proved to be a consolation.

Rangers will come into the game on a four-match winning run across all competitions following their recent 3-1 win over Motherwell FC in the Scottish Premiership as an own goal by Liam Kelly and goals from Scott Wright and James Tavernier saw them walk away with maximum points.

Amadou Haidara is out with a medial collateral ligament injury and Lukas Klostermann, who is in quarantine.

Rangers’ boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst will miss the likes of Nnamdi Ofoborh, Ianis Hagi and Alfredo Morelos due to injury.

Players to watch on Thursday

Christopher Nkunku will be looking to continue his form in the competition after bagging a brace in their 2-0 victory over Atalanta BC in the quarter-final return leg on 14 April.

Rangers will rely on Kemar Roofe to produce the goals against Leipzig, having already scored two goals in the competition.

The Hammers will be hoping Jarrod Bowen will be at his best against the Bundesliga outfit after second in both legs of their quarter-final victory over Olympique Lyon.

Filip Kostic will look to continue his form in the competition after bagging a brace and creating an assist in their quarter-final second leg win over Barcelona.
