BETTING PREVIEW: AL MERRIKH vs MAMELODI SUNDOWNS

Mamelodi Sundowns will be hoping to secure back-to-back wins in the Caf Champions League when they take on Al Merrikh Omdurman in their next Group B encounter at the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo on Saturday afternoon.

Al Merrikh will be fresh for the encounter as they have not played a game since their 3-0 victory over Al Khartoum in the Sudan Premier League after their two fixtures against Wad Nubawi and Hay Al Wadi were postponed.

Mamelodi Sundowns will be hoping to extend their winning run in the group stages after they secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Al Hilal Omdurman in their Caf Champions League Group A opener at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Phokeng this past Friday through an eighth minute goal by Themba Zwane.

The win saw Masandawana move to the top of the Group A standings with three points, while the Blue Wave of Sudan dropped down to the foot of the table with zero points after their first match.

Themba Zwane is currently the only scorer for Sundowns in this edition of the competition with his goal against Al Hilal Omdurman, while Al-Merrikh have not had a scorer in the competition yet as they are yet to play their first game in Group A.

Amin Msalmi will have a fully fit squad to face Sundowns with the exception of Mohamed Abdallah Zorga, who is sidelined with a leg injury, while Manqoba Mngqithi and Rulani Mokwena will be without Lebohang Maboe, Pavol Safranko, Thabiso Kutumela through injury.
