BETTING PREVIEW: RAJA CASABLANCA vs AMAZULU

Amazulu

AmaZulu will begin their CAF Champions League campaign with a Group B encounter against Moroccan side Raja Casablanca when they face off at the Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca on Saturday evening.

Raja will go into this encounter looking to return to winning ways after they were forced to share the spoils with Club Athletic Youssoufia Berrechid after playing out to a 1-1 draw at the Stade Mohammed V when Soufiane Benjdida cancelled out Soufiane Saadane’s second minute opener on 5 February.

Usuthu are hoping to bounce back after they fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates in the opening round of the Nedbank Cup at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto this Sunday as Deon Hotto’s 53rd goal proved the difference.

Despite missing five out of 26 matches this campaign, Luvuyo Memela has been AmaZulu’s main source of goals with five already to his name, with teammates Augustine Mulenga and Bongi Ntuli the only two players close to his tally with three apiece.

Marc Wilmots only has one injury on the cards in the form of Anas Zniti, who is expected back on 16 February as he recovers from a fractured hand, Benni McCarthy will be without the services of Limbikani Mzava, who is out of action due to a leg injury.
