Gambia will be looking for an upset when they come up against host nation Cameroon in the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals at the Stade Omnisports de Douala in Japoma on Saturday evening.

A goal from Musa Barrow saw Gambia keep their dream alive after they beat Guinea 1-0 in the round of 16 at the Kouekong Stadium on Monday evening to progress to the Afcon quarter-finals.

Host nation Cameroon booked their place in the Afcon quarter-finals after claiming a hard-fought 2-1 win over 10-man Comoros at the Olembe Stadium on Monday night when Karl Toko Ekambi and Vincent Aboubakar cancelled out Youssouf M’Changama’s late goal, which proved to be a consolation.

Tom Saintfiet and Toni Conceição will both be boosted by the fact that they’ll have a fully fit squad for the quarter-final encounter with no injuries.
