Three favourites are being tipped to enjoy a fruitful Thursday at Euro 2020 which offers the chance to cash in.
Ukraine vs North Macedonia – 3pm
Ukraine will be licking their lips as they prepare for the clash against minnows North Macedonia. History points to Ukraine getting the job done – in Euro 2016 qualifiers they beat their opponents 1-0 at home and 2-0 away.
After a 3-2 defeat to Netherlands in their opening game, Ukraine will be looking to Andriy Yarmolenko to get onto the scoresheet again and lead them to victory.
Denmark vs Belgium – 6pm
Belgium are much fancied to get another win after they breezed through their opening game against Russia.
Romelu Lukaku looks like he’s peaking at the right time and Belgium are now looking to give Real Madrid playmaker Eden Hazard more minutes after he started the first game on the bench. That could spell trouble for Denmark. Key midfielder Kevin De Bruyne may also make an appearance as he continues to recover from the facial injury suffered during the Champions League final.
Denmark were understandably rattled following the cardiac arrest suffered by Christian Eriksen. The Danes returned to the park but lost 1-0 to Finland and now face one of the tournament favourites in a must-win encounter.
Netherlands vs Austria – 9pm
The Dutch will be boosted by their record against Austria – six wins from six matches in recent meetings – as they look to book their spot in the next round. Former Manchester United forward Memphis Depay has found himself as a leading light and has 48 goals in 65 starts for his country.
Austria enjoyed a rare win at this stage in their opening game but will find the Netherlands a far stiffer test than North Macedonia. The test on Thursday will be made that much hard with Austrian star Marko Arnautovic suspended for this encounter.
Matthijs de Ligt will likely sit out this tie leaving the Dutch needing to find a solution at centre back.
Suggested bet: Ukraine, Belgium and Netherlands to win at 5.24
