Liverpool will look to book their place in the Champions League when they face Crystal Palace in the final day of the Premier League season.
A 3-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor has put the Reds ahead of Leicester City in the race for the top four.
That means Sunday’s final round of the 2020-21 campaign will boil down to the defending champions against Crystal Palace, Leicester City at home against Spurs and Chelsea away at 11th placed Aston Villa.
As it stands, Chelsea are third with 67 points and will be wary of the possible ramifications of a defeat at Villa Park. The Blues will be unable to rest players ahead of this contest and as such, have been installed as favourites at 1.50 to win.
Liverpool’s midweek triumph lifted them above the Foxes on goal difference. They have a four goal cushion but again, they will need to win to ensure a top four finish.
That leaves all the burden on Leicester, who despite sitting comfortably inside the top four for the large majority of the season, now find themselves in a spot of bother.
They host Spurs, who will start in seventh and themselves on the right side of goal difference with Everton in eighth. A point to ponder in the Spurs’ match will be whether Harry Kane starts … the England international has shocked fans by declaring he needs to leave the London club in order to realise his career goals.
Another farewell will be that of Nuno Espirito Santo. The Portuguese manager will be in charge of Wolves for the last time as they host Manchester United.
Sunday’s final round will be focussed on the top four race with the three relegated sides already determined. Fulham, West Brom and Sheffield United will be in the Championship next term.
Suggested bet: Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, Manchester City and Liverpool to win at 7.45
