Cape Town City will host Baroka on Saturday looking to work their way back up the Premiership table.
An indifferent run in the league – the Cape side is without a win in five matches – has seen coach Jan Olde Riekerink’s side slip to seventh.
Following the international break, which saw South Africa fail to qualify for next season’s Afcon 2022 showpiece, Riekerink will now hope to ensure that the time off from competitive football will translate into positive results.
As it stands, City are six points behind Swallows who sit in sixth.
Guests to the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday are Baroka, who begin April in 11th place.
Mduduzi Mdantsane remains the key player for the Citizens. He has scored nine goals in the league to date and sits third in the scoring charts. To aid his scoring fortunes, he will be pleased that Justin Shonga, the former Orlando Pirates forward, has been declared fit despite missing international duty for Zambia.
This fixture has seen three draws and a 1-0 home win for City in recent times.
The match kicks off at 5pm.
