Manchester United’s Champions League position went from power to the brink of disaster over the course of 90 minutes against PSG on Wednesday.

Ultimately the Red Devils succumbed to the free-flowing Parisians in a 3-1 defeat as the hosts paid the price for wasting a number of good chances after drawing level going into the break.

Now, the English side are second in the group with only goal difference separating PSG, themselves and RB Leipzig, who they face in the final gameweek.

Fred ‘s 70th minute red card all but put paid to the home side’s chances and means that the Red Devil’s will require a point at least in their final game to proceed to the knockout rounds based on their superior goal difference.
