BETTING PREVIEW: PSL, 22 NOVEMBER

Th three PSL games on Sunday should offer up goals but there is a double prediction that looks to offer good value.

Firstly, let’s exclude the TTM vs Baroka fixture from matters. Picking a winner in that contest is almost impossible with both sides shaping up to be unpredictable entities. Both can be outstanding on their days and then look ordinary in the next fixture. TTM’s home ground advantage makes matters even more difficult, so that is why this encounter has been left out of the double.

Cape Town City should be too good for Bloemfontein Celtic. And Teko Modise agrees – read his weekly tips here! And the next game to make up the double bet is Mamelodi Sundowns to beat AmaZulu.

City know that MTN8 finalists Celtic are no pushovers and will not be distracted by their chances of winning the cup that City did back in 2018.

“Bloemfontein is a team that performs very well at the moment. They qualified for the MTN 8 final against Pirates so it’s going to be a very challenging game,” said coach Jan Olde Riekerink.

“They will come full strength. The final is too far away to be distracted by it. They will see our game as a very good opportunity to get three points.”

But the City boss will be able to call upon Thamsanqa Mkhize and Abbubaker Mobara which could prove the difference.

Sundowns will most likely be without Kermit Erasmus when they host AmaZulu, who went on a shopping spree and brought in Xola Mlambo, Augustine Mulenga, Luvuyo Memela and Siphiwe Tshabalala. The latter is an injury doubt and while both sides have undergone extensive squad overhauls, the champions have too much quality throughout the pitch not to win this one.

Suggested beat: Cape Town City and Sundowns to win at 3.45
