BETTING PREVIEW: CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, 27 OCTOBER

Liverpool and Manchester City are in action on Tuesday as the Champions League action keeps on coming.

Liverpool, winners of the competition two seasons ago, face FC Midtjylland and could well use the contest to give their star players a rest especially their fullbacks. Both Trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson could be on the bench as Jurgen Klopp deals with a congested fixture list. Their absence will provide Kostas Tsimikas and Neco Williams  the opportunity to impress.

The match will be a good chance for new signing Diego Jota to impress and fans should expect the Reds to breeze past their visitors.

Suggested bet: Liverpool win 3-0 at 7.25

A trip to Marseille is not exactly what the doctor ordered for Pep Guardiola. Who would’ve thought that after all the money spent that Guardiola’s side would be 13th in the Premier League after five games with just two wins.

It’s not quite crisis levels but it’s far from ideal.

For this match, Guardiola can call upon Kevin de Bruyne but will have a big problem as he tries to fill the gap up front left by Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus.

“Kevin is back again, he played a few minutes at West Ham,” Guardiola said.

“Aymeric is back, Nathan [Ake] is so close, Gabriel is a week to 10 days to returning. The rest will be two or three weeks – Sergio and [Benjamin] Mendy.”

A storm is brewing in Manchester.

Suggested bet: Draw at 4.73
