AB de Villiers produced the goods once again as the Royal Challengers Bangalore beat the Mumbai Indians after a Super Over.
De Villiers helped RCB to 201 with a blitzed 55 off 24 balls. He was helped in the cause by 50s from Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch.
The job though was far from done as Mumbai kept themselves alive thanks largely to Ishan Kishan’s 99. That knock allowed Kieron Pollard to swing for the fences and he contributed 60 off 24.
Needing 90 off the last five overs, the Indians tied Bangalore’s tally to set up a Super Over.
The Indians mustered just seven off of Navdeep Saini’s over which allowed AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli to waltz over the line to bag their second win from three games.
