Mo Salah’s 22 minute cameo against Rangers was more than enough time for him to batter the Champions League hat-trick record.
The Egyptian star, who now has 38 UCL goals, scored a hat-trick in just six minutes to set the new gold standard in Europe’s elite competition.
From the 75th minute mark, Salah was on hand to stun the Rangers crowd with an array of finishes.
It may be many, many years before Salah’s name is challenged in the record books.
The win all but guaranteed the Reds’ place in the next round of the Champions League.
They face Manchester City on Sunday when they return to Premier League duty.
