When the two sides last met in the Premier League back in the 1998-99 season, Tottenham came out on top after securing a 2-0 victory in the first leg at White Hart Lane before clinching a narrow 1-0 victory at City Ground in 1999.

Forest mentor Steve Cooper will be without the services of two players including Moussa Niakhaté, who is out with a hamstring injury, while Omar Richards is out of action due to a fractured leg.

Spurs manager Antonio Conte will also have two players sidelined for the clash after Cristian Romero sustained adductor problems, while Oliver Skipp remains on the injury list with a foot injury.

Harry Kane will be looking to continue his goalscoring form for Spurs after he netted two goals in his last two appearances against Chelsea and Wolves, failing only to score in his side’s opening fixture against Southampton.
