Manchester City and Liverpool will do battle again, this time for a place in the FA Cup final.

The English giants will come into this semi-final fixture six days after playing out to a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Etihad Stadium, which saw the Reds come from behind twice to earn a point away from home.

On Saturday, they meet on neutral grounds for a place in the final. BET ON THE FA CUP NOW

While the Premier League title race hangs in the balance, neither time will want to miss out on a chance for more silverware. Neither team was particularly convincing midweek in the Champions League but both sides did enough to progress to the final four.

CITY TO START WEMBLEY SEMI-FINAL AS FAVOURITES

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says: “Nothing’s changed really. So you play 95 minutes of incredibly intense football and you are as smart as before but that’s actually pretty good news.

“The moment you put your arms down you get such a knock in the middle of your face and then you have to get up again and you have to try to get control again.

“We have to be pretty much as close to perfection as possible to win every game. This is absolutely insane but that’s obviously the only way to beat this team.”

Manchester City have claimed two wins out of five against the Reds in recent times, a 4-0 win at home and a 4-1 win away from home, while, the other three matches have ended in a draw, including a 1-1 draw at the Etihad and two consecutive 2-2 draws in their last two matches.

Klopp is expected to have a fully fit squad while City await news on the fitness of Kevin de Bruyne and Ruben Dias.

Although Takumi Minamino has struggled for game time at Liverpool this season, he has been their most in-form player and top scorer in the FA Cup with a goal against Cardiff City followed by a brace against Norwich City.
