Arsenal will look to return to winning ways when they host Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night.
Mikel Arteta’s men stumbled to a 1-1 draw against Fulham while their visitors held Spurs to a 2-2 draw.
Those results means Everton will start in eighth, a place and three points above the Gunners.
The Toffees are in miserable form of late; they have earned just three points from their last five matches.
On the injury front, Arsenal will be without the influential Gabon forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is recovering from malaria, as well as his strike partner Alexandre Lacazette. The French forward pulled up with a hamstring strain in the draw against Fulham.
Arteta will also be scrambling to fill the void left by defensive pair Kieran Tierney and David Luiz.
Carlo Ancelotti has injury problems a plenty with the likes of Abdoulaye Doucoure, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Fabian Delph, Yerry Mina and Bernard all absent.
That means the Toffees’ boss will be desperate to get Andre Gomes and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is battling an abductor issue, back in time to start.
The match kicks off at 9pm and is one where all three results are very much in the running.
